Good news in one way..but three into two doesn't go, I wonder who'll get the starting job, I wonder if Lancaster might get the nod over Talanoa, which for me would be a bit sad as he's a tryer that's for sure and shown his worth despite not being the quickest/most talented winger in the competition. I've yet to see the same form shown by Lineham from 2013 but he was dropped straight back into the starting 13 and Lancaster dropped out which went against the grain of Radford's ideals relating to form so I think it's difficult to tell whom will start. I just hope whomever is showing the best form/energy early doors gets a shout, if that means dropping Lineham then so be it.
As for salaries, all those seemingly knowing what X player was/is on as always is complete speculation, more often than not a made up figure is spouted to support a poster's own agenda (EastHullFC fan is the most guilty of coming out with made up stuff with no evidence aside from repeating him/herself as infinitum) What a player is on is none of our business, if at the time of agreement of contracts the club are happy to pay then it is completely irrelevant. In all walks in life you take chances on employees, some work out great, some don't, some are probably underpaid, some overpaid, that's just life.
There are some posters on here that have a nasty habit calling out players based upon their alledged salaries without knowing the truth at all. somehow in their eyes it is their fault they are getting paid at all, some idiots even think they should take a wage drop because the coach didn't see them as a favourite, so should drop wages to show some sort of commitment!!
Those types are spiteful, vindictive and more than a bit sad. At least if a player makes a major cock up continually and has being given the best chance to prove themselves you can say yip, he's being poop all season and was rightly dropped. However that applied to a lot of players last season & in no small part because of the lack of a proper coach.
ATEOTD speculation about whom gets paid what is a nonsense, the club will tell you as much or as little as they want and hint at whatever they want to suit what's best for them from a PR POV in the present, I wouldn't epect anything less. whether that is the truth or not is difficult to prove either way (certain things that came out this last season were just bullshat lies)

IMO Radford will not drop Talanoa on last seasons form. I even think he will kick on and be even better. It will be up to Lancaster to fight for his place.

Not really a debate. The player of the yr will retain his place n the 17 old rookie will wait for his opportunity!
To be fair to Lineham he wasn't going to suffer a broken leg n just come back in dream team form. Nobody could. & to be fair to radford he dropped Lineham for Lancaster twice I think?
