Even though plenty of FC fans would rather have Holdsworth?
I don't see it as a job. It is a passion and love that we all share. Neil Hudgell
Was very good down the right last year and would be happy to see him & Whiting rotate there and 13. Obviously 6 or 7 games back from injury coinciding with a chronic injury list to mainly forwards means nothing and he should be bossing games from within a beaten pack. Obviously the reason he isn't is because he'd rather go on the lash at Xscape. He's been no worse than anyone else this year. He's young, British, got potential and has been captain of the knights setup. Exactly what Gentle wants in his squad.
And anyone that listens to Lee Richardson is an idiot.

Who are these people? I haven't seen anything from him in terms of leadership, determination or passion. Things that every good captain needs. He looks like he just turns up on the day and goes through the motions to me.

I'm surprised you feel this way tbh, I'm always seeing him bark out orders and talking just as much as Lynch. And if others showed as much determination and passion as him (Manu, Turner etc.) we wouldn't be capitulating at the thought of a few injuries like we are.
Can't believe how some of us Hull fans are so fickle, yes we are looking for a scapegoat and Westerman seem's to be the prime choice but remember the lad is still only 22 and is best year's are still ahead of him, hopefully imo in a Hull fc shirt.
I think that Westerman is a talented player but has had a poor-to-average season so far. Personally, I'd play him out wide as I think that we've seen his best performances when he's been playing on the edges, and this would allow Whiting to play at 13 (and Whiting in the smarter player).
I don't know why people say that Westerman doesn't show any Leadership qualities, I've regularly seen him barking out orders or having a word with the guys when we're in a group under the sticks after conceding.
For the rest of this season I think that we should move Westerman out wide to Tickle's spot and then have Whiting at 13. For next season, I'd have Ellis on the left, Whiting on the middle, and then either Tickle (if he stays) or Westerman playing on the right depending on how they're performing.
