With that game scheduled to be NRL 1st v NRL 2nd

A game against the Aussie champs for the title World Club Champs is fair enough but to play the runners up in a meaningless game does not interest me I would rather stay away from injuries and battle for 2 league points in SL

That wouldn't happen. SL champs vs NRL champs would still see the winner crowned World Club Champions. The other two games added to this one would contribute to a series type comp as well, whoever wins the most games wins a seperate title for their comp.
Personally I'm for it in some sort of form. The idea I had was:

Friday: SL 3rd vs NRL 3rd at the home ground of the SL team or a close by all seater stadium (so for example, the JJB, KC, Huddersfield, Elland Road, Bolton etc etc
Saturday: NRL 2nd vs SL 2nd at larger venue (so if a NSW team wins: Syndey football stadium, Queensland: Suncorp, Melbourne: Dome, NZ Warriors: dunno )
Sunday: SL 1st vs NRL 1st in the Middle East or Far East
