Mrs Barista wrote:He's clearly a very gifted player in attack with plenty of pace. However, you didn't show his placing in the errors table, where he was 6th in the comp and 3rd on a per match basis. This is the issue for me, as well as his weak defence. Having re-watched all Hull's games televised 2008 games recently his decision-making is very poor at times. Yes, he's still young, and yes we could compensate for his defensive frailties by shoring up that side with Horne and Crocker, but for me Briscoe is the better all-round prospect at this stage.

Thats what I meant when I said about giving him the patience.

Much gets said about his negatives far more than his positives. We're a club that year on year fails to match the attacking power of the bigger clubs we aim to match so when a natural attacker comes along we shouldn't ignore it.

He has his negatives but as ive said before so did Yeaman and Cooke and they were given the chance to work through them. I honestly feel a lot of Halls problems are to do with confidence and tending to panic when playing against the big boys. Experience will sort that.

Briscoe is nowhere near ready for the Centre spot yet. What we saw last season was a player with great strength and a fantastic sense of balance, all individual play. He'd cover well as a winger this season but start throwing him in at Centre where he will need more than individual skill and we would seriously risk damagin his confidence.

ooh, how very clever, using the fact that I live out of Hull as a reason not to listen to me.

Gordon Gekko wrote:and if you think that everything Agar says or does is right

probably the most laughable comment of yours so far, my opinion on Agar is well documented, I remain to be convinced that he will succeed, but I do accept that we are now his team to coach, he will stand or fall by his decisions, he obviously had reason not to pick Craig in a regular spot last season, maybe that will have changed with a full closed season, nobody knows as yet.

your opinion counts for little.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Because Washy would kick up the stink that Tickle would.

what both Hall and Briscoe need is a top class centre to learn from, if you look at the positions where we have been weak there has, to varying extents. been a lack of a role model in that position (there is no surprise that we are well furnished with hookers for example, having had Triester,Swain and Berrigan in recent times)

Although not as weak as someone who claims to be a fan of RL in Hull, when in fact he really is a KR fan but hasn't got the bottle to admit it
