Its easy to forget he had to settle a large tax bill left by the hetheringtons and also paid some hefty transfer fees in the early days of his tenure. He's also made sure we had a good amount of spend above the salary cap for much of his time in charge.

He's been led up the garden path by a number of people from mcrae through to smith and this is where his reputation amongst the support base has been tarnished.

I'm hoping he can walk away with his pockets refilled with what the club owe him and someone with deeper pockets can take over.

Whatever happens, he gave us that monumental day at webley in 2016 and I'll always be grateful for that

Hammer Nail Head….the thing is,a lot of “experts” on here don’t see what he has done for this club and I will always thank him for that glorious day in 2016…when we got the monkey off our back, rammed that song down the bin dippers throats and deliverd one of the best days of my life.

That will really energise fans just like what's happened at Hull City

I think you’ll be very disappointed, why would anyone buy the club? It’s an absolute mess.

I don’t think you could be more wrong !

Ask yourself - would you pump in £1-3m in a year and
Not have a controlling interest in the Club ?

You don’t have that money and you wouldn’t so it’s
Clear the guy who does have the Cash wouldn’t either !

I have lost interest

Interesting and heartening words from our new coach in his latest statement on his new position.

[quote="DSJ1983"]According to the Pearson interview the ‘out of town’ investment should be sorted by the end of the year, but he was vague on what it would mean and to be honest it seemed to me like a sales pitch to try smoke out some investment from local businesses people with some kind of attachment to the club like what they have at Rovers.

The investment was desperately wanted for years but only came when there was money to be made on building land. That's the attachment!
Who owns the land now? Not Rover's

The club in reality has no tangible assets
The only attraction is the possibility to build the great fan base which the club has.
get it wrong again and it will be very difficult to attract fans back to the club

It won't be hard. Start winning and playing attractive rugby and fans will be back. Simple really.

Who’s said he’s pumping in £1-3m a year? That’s would be some serious in investment when you consider the absolute max you can spend on the salary cap is 3.1 million.

I can't believe people are actually calling for the removal of Pearson

We were in a far worse state with Hetherington in charge. Adam came in and rescued the club.

Yes he's made mistakes but who hasn't? He's put a lot of time and his own money into Hull and who knows where we'd be without him.

He's realised he can't do this alone any longer and has sought external investment and brought in specialised personnel to assist in making rugby related decisions.

I don't care how or why Myler came to be at the club or who the investor/s is or are.
I only care now that our future seems secure and going forward we are trying to put right the wrongs that have already occurred.
As long as we are competitive on the field and no longer shopping in the bargain basement for players, as a fan I'm happy.

Yes it will take a few seasons to correct this mess but at least it is being addressed.
Whatever is happening behind the scenes is no concern of mine or any other fan, demanding to know who the investor is or calling for the removal of Pearson, it's ridiculous talk.

As long as there's a competitive team on the field and our very existence is secure I couldn't give 2 figs about the rest.

Given that, for now, there isn’t a competitive team and questions remain the extent and nature of the new investment, that’s sizeable qualifier.
