If we could just release them they’d have been gone already. I have no idea what contracts they are on but surprisingly Okunbor had notched up a respectable amount of NRL appearances and with the NRL having a quite substantial minimum wage you’d imagine he’ll be on a decent contract. At very least more than any championship club could likely afford.

Pace isn't that important as long as you have players backing up if you make a break, Lafai isn't particularly fast for example, but he breaks at Salford he has someone on his shoulder.
I have to disagree - we have lacked pace and power in the centres. One would be nice but a pacey back line is vital imo for a top rl team I’d say we haven’t really had this for a while

Agree all 3 will be gone.
It beggars belief that ANY quota player would arrive unfit - just basic professionalism.
Both were under pressure for poor form well before they were loaned out. If Pele hasn't got himself in shape yet, or doesn't very very quickly then why would anybody think he will be any better next year ?
Sadly I dont really blame the players - just those who thought they were decent signings. Entire season written off due to these decisions, NOT to mention the cash being spent to cancel contracts.

If we are after another prop…I’d have a go for Mike Cooper if he doesn’t get a extension at Wigan,I know he is 34/35 and some will say he is injured a lot but he had 1 bad injury at Wigan that was caused by Lees at Sts and he has come back well and he is a leader…I noticed him leading the talking in the huddles yesterday and think he could do a job for us.
