Missing a few forwards last night and 5 day turnaround didn't help. Credit to Wigan defence. Fash really tries but as others have said isn't big enough for a prop. Actually that was the best game I've seen lane have but can't see him in the 17 next year. Big game against wakey

I’ve not watched it back, but if Bureta gave away an eight point try for his tackle, shouldn’t the tackle on Bureta by Tom at Headingley in the act of him scoring also have been an eight pointer?

Yes, absolutely, that’s what makes it a complete farce. SL is garbage, the rfl, the refs, the quality, complete poop, no wonder the games on its knees

Small margins again , a game we could easily have won . It’s easy to point out at times our faults when we are only losing . As others have said , and I’ve said it for a while now , if Connor isn’t going to make it in the half’s , he needs to be at full back , get him on the ball more and as much as I like shaul he does have his faults at full back compared to the top ones and does halt our attack when he gets the ball . Shame he can’t play another position. Regards fash , I didn’t think he’d ever make a prop but he’s been going well lately and surprised me . He’s different to most , and makes a lot of metres for his size and does get to his feet quick . I think people would have a different opinion of him if he had better forwards round him and we was winning the middle more .

So, you would have been happy if, and I realise it's a long stretch, Rovers had played a very intense semi final on a Saturday, and then, despite there being 4 other games that could have been moved, they had been asked to play an important league game 5 days later??
