Could be argued that it was a good time to play them. They haven't rested anybody over the full Easter period so would likely be fatigued. Just would have been nice for us to have had more players available.

We always leave it way way too late before throwing it around. It's where we look our best. Last 5 minutes we caused a few problems and made the breaks.

As I said on coffee ladies middle 8s thread, we lost 11 games last season and made third.

For me our defence structure has cost us this, just sat back all game and let them play at us. The amount of times we were going high was unreal, at least 90% of saints sets started on there 30 metre and ended in our half.

Just not good enough at all tonight, just didnt look interested in having to roll your sleeves up.

Sts had a miles quicker play the ball than us tonight which was the difference.

While you'd hope to win away at some of your rivals having Wigan, Cas, Leeds and Saints away in the first 10 games doesn 't help matters.

Great effort by both sides backing up the Easter weekend. Credit to St's, they ran much harder than us and dominated us territorially with a top kicking game. But we made a decent contest of it. No panic just yet.
