Sneyd has done okay. Pryce just doesn't inject himself into the game enough for me. We still don't have a game breaker at half back, and to me that should be Pryces role. Carlos would offer pace and unpredictability at half back, but then we'd be a centre down.
If we get a creative player surely that has to be the no.7 so far Sneyd is too inconsistent despite his improvement in his goal attempts. Out of hand kicking aside from the odd little dab is average at best. Kicks straight to the FB far too often, can't kick long, can't kick 40/20s, no variety on kicks offs which are too easy to deal with. Considering we paid a hefty sum for him overall he's being a tad disappointing. Still want Abdull as our long term 6 and needs to be in the starting 13 for Widnes IMHO

Didn't Abdull pick up an injury in the 23's last week. If he's back to fitness I agree he should be in for Pryce. After Fridays match I was left feeling the same as others, it felt like the same old same old. Having resisted the temptation to vent my disappointment on here, and on reflection over the 4 games played, I do believe we have improved overall, and it has been more enjoyable, if not a little frustrating, to watch us. As others have said, I see the lack of creativity in the halves as the main problem, given the platforms that are being created for them. For me Sneyd is doing OK, but Pryce looks a bit slow. I believe he too is injured, so the decision to replace him might be forced upon Radford.

If you listen to Radfords Post match Interview on HFC live he is non too complimentary about Pryce. When asked about his injury he just said dun no. Cant see Pryce in the team for Widnes whether he is fit or not. I hope Abdul is fit rather than changing several positions Big Frank having a scan on his shoulder on Tuesday so doesnt look good for quick return

We need to stop shooting ourselves in the foot. Clearly there are stronger and weaker areas of the squad but we obviously need more leadership and control from our halves and to cut out the idiotic stupid plays from so called senior players. It costs league points and it really needs players to be dropped who reoffend.

Spot on. I said last week we need to improve our game management in these tight games but it's just as important that we stop making stupid mistakes the way we do. I'm not going to point the finger at anyone in particular because the truth is that it's been a worrying trait for some time within the squad IMO.

Think that's it in a nutshell. Pryce has done most things in the game and is in a pivotal position on the field. We should be looking to him for game management. Sneyd is still relatively young and in many ways still learning from a game management point of view. Frustrating thing is that Wigan were there to be beaten on Friday. They were nothing special, and played their normal dour game plan. We gifted them the points twice and that's what cost us. That's not Radfords fault. The response is his responsibility though, and the next few games are crucial, and will tell us in which direction we are heading I reckon.
