Outstanding performance and how great are these weekend afternoon games?. I can tell you it makes the drive over from Leeds so much easier than the struggle with the rush hour on a thu/fri night. Loved hearing this young kids in the West Stand chanting Hull FC Hull FC Hull FC just before the final whistle. Thats how you rebuild your fan base, weekend games and get the kids hooked for life.

Back to the rugby, obvs Snake and Grub were outstanding, however really pleased to see Bowden having a decent dig. Scott had his best game so far before the injury. Darnell looked great and overall a solid performance. As others have said all done with a stack of players sat in the stands, I won't get carried away but very promising. Picked up my Cas tickets and am joining the Prawn sandwich brigade for the Rhino's game, back in the directors suite again. Now what to choose from the menu?

Savelio, Carlos and Evans back for Cas too.

Will be interesting to see who drops out
I'd say Johnstone for Savelio
Bowden for Evans
Shaul for Carlos

Who was put on report after Scotts try. Salford player for the hit or Connor for feigning injury

He attacks like a 6 so surely he plays 6
we are missing out on a brilliant FB alongside Connor feeding off Jake

He's our full back. That's his best position, it's his prefered position, it's where Hodgson wants him to play.

Think FB is where Connor can really display his range of talent. The FB role gives him much more freedom and his ability to link play is unreal. He was at FB for Huddersfield just prior to him signing for us when he ripped us apart in that game.

Not getting carried away but yesterday was a pleasing performance and at home and with a fair few players still sat in the stands.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Some great stats there and I wa delighted to see Chris's try. So obviously something practiced in training. He was on his way to the line before the ball had actually been played.

Surley there still can't be people who think Connor is not our best fullback.
Thought our defemce was good yesterday, 2 trys from kicks and a crazy offloading try.
Sneyd yesterday showed why he isn't a top scrum half, his passing was atrocious.

Thought Brown was outstanding, for me should be on the 17 every week, offers something totally different to our other props.

Thought Bowden had a good dig, if he can get back to previously form, then that's a real bonus.

Hey you know i love Jake
I’ve been saying he’s a HoF player for us so try in weeks and before many many on here.

He’s a 6 - simple
as that
Reynolds moves on and we spend his money on a terrific FB and move Jake to where Wayne Bennett knew he should play - 6 for England.

come on - he’s not a defensive FB !! anyone who thinks he is must be deluded
A second rower waltzed around him as did the green Cas winger last season

it’s only great news - I’m not being negative only positive
He’s a 6

I have lost interest
