Season is going to be a diaster, exactly the same as last season, can't see where the next win is coming from.
Pretty accurate for me. Although I did post during the match that I think a really big positive of this season is Jack Brown. There was a lot of calls over the past few years for him to be played over people like Bowden, Fash, and this year its great to see him playing every game. Really holding his own against some big forward packs. He only made 60 metres yesterday but that was off just 7 carries. An average gain of 9 metres which was the highest of our team yesterday. 17 tackles with just 1 miss. Really puts his body about in defence and can put a big hit on. Sao, Mau, Lovodua taking a lot of plaudits this year (and well deserved) but Brown is player of the year so far for me. Really made the jump up to Super League.

Think Hodgson has to do something or his job with be under threat, think he has to either give some young kids (Hookem, Litten or Balmforth) a go or try somehow to bring someone one in, which won't be easy with a non fed place, Reynolds leaving would be ideal, but even then salary cap might be an issue.

Reynolds, not sure, why he's played on the right, when other teams have their stand off on the left. Hodgson's selection of 3 hooker's is bizarre. For mine, I'd enquire if Maguire, Nathan Brown or Tony Smith would be interested in taking over at the end of the season.
Good point that there are several experienced coaches available right now, but can we afford one?

Probably not.... However IF AP wants to increase sales of season passes. This would be bigger than any new player signing.. Hodgson doesn't instill confidence, nor portray leadership . IMO.

Because they were successful here, both transformed Wigan & Saints and both have won a GF in Australia & UK.. Now Maguire has gone, I wonder if Wests will try to lure Hodgson, somehow I doubt it..

Another game I couldn’t travel to, but watched it on the old sky, I have absolutely no doubt our present halves are not the future, but yesterdays game Sterling and Kenny wouldn’t have been able to influence that result, we were totally beaten up front, constantly on the back foot, we provided no platform for any of our backs to produce. In searing heat we were totally dominated in the engine room.
For me regardless of present playing personnel, our coach is under tremendous pressure now, losing Carlos and Jake will add to this. Fantastic support from our supporters yesterday, we may have a pretty average team, just a shame for those who traveled to witness such an underwhelming display.
