Thing is, I really want the current coaching staff to do well. They seem like really good guys with integrity. They also gave me the greatest day of my life in 2016.
Unfortunately it just seems there’s no going back from all this. We haven’t got a load of salary cap sat in the stands this year at the business end, yet the performances are not much better. I wasn’t a huge fan of Gentle, but he never presided over so many massive beatings as we’ve took this year. Even Agars team didn’t concede as many points against average opposition.
He’ll be given more time because of the signings but I feel so ambivalent about our style of rugby, I’ll be back there next year out of duty more than anything.

Most of you said from the start that the team was past it, Radford has gone out and made big changes for next year, pulling off some real coups like Ma'u and Jones.

He's brought the age and numbers of the squad down, and added some quality in their prime age.

My opinion is give him a chance with this new squad.

think he will be given a chance, but it really is last chance saloon for me, only positives where Kelly who gave it everything although clearly carrying a bit to much timber, and satue and masi who gave it a good dig,

So what does 746pts against tell us?

Yes the players have to take a look at themselves but they are not the only ones. Doing the same prep isn’t changing or correcting anything either and that’s down to the coaching staff.

It’s the Head Coach to see it isn’t working and change things (not just the players) to resolve and fix things and manage the problems. Not just keep doing the same thing over and over again hoping eventually it’ll turn out ok. Next season will just end up being the same old story of promise but ultimately failure.
