The fact is there will be quite a few Hull FC fans who whilst having a modicum of sympathy like myself that your club has been relegated, will also not be having too many sleepless nights over it on the whole thanks to the actions of your chairman.

Your illustrious leader has systematically taken potshots at our club and fans and his over whelming desire to get one over Hull FC at every opportunity he could, his actions created a real bitterness in the rivalry between the clubs and supporters. This in turn rubbed off on quite a few Rovers staff and why Hull FC fans whilst having some sympathy will not be sorry that Rovers have been relegated.

Its your Chairman that has got your club relegated by his petty hatred of Hull FC and his 'At any cost'attitude to get one over us, which has eventually caught up with him and your club as a result is now paying that heavy price.

HULL FC will record losses in excess of £300,000 this year – with new owner Adam Pearson blaming 'serious under-investment' in recent years.

Pearson, who bought the Super League club last July, says he has been shocked by the state of the club's finances since taking control.

And he told the Mail he bought a club which – despite being considered one of the most financially healthy in the game – was 'creaking at the seams'.

Poor performances on the field, combined with the tough economic climate, saw crowds fall significantly at the KC.

FC only managed to surpass 12,000 on three occasions last season, compared to eight times in 2010.

And Pearson says the club now faces a long and difficult road back to profitability as a result.

"Let's get one thing out in the open, this club does not make a profit as may have been reported," Pearson told the Mail.

"The club will be ending the financial year for 2011 by posting a loss of £300,000, and I can't see that changing in the short term because there quite simply wasn't enough investment going in.

"I now understand clearly why the previous board were attempting to sell, and that is because they were going to have to put some money into it.

"This club is creaking at the seams with under-investment and that has to be addressed."

Pearson has made sweeping changes at the KC Stadium, on and off the field, during his six months at the helm.

It has sparked renewed optimism amongst supporters, with more than 8,000 having bought season tickets for the forthcoming season.
