Would be a great signing for FC at this stage in the season. Wonder if we would look to get Pryce off the cap? Sure I heard a rumour about a coaching role for him. My main concern about the potential Brough deal is Saints quite legitimately saying to Giants we can give you a ready made replacement in Travis Burns plus cash.

Sorry, but where has Saints are in for Brough come from? The only thing that has been rumoured on this side is that Huddersfield were talking to Burns as a potential replacement

still not sure there is anything in the Brough to Hull rumour, Rumour was Huddersfield wanted £400,000 for him, if this is the case that would almost certainly rule us out

Think his wife's roots are very much entrenched in Hull, albeit of the, ahem, 'East Hull persuasion'....
...although I'm inferring that her tweet of 24 March at 2.15 in the morning "Hull bound" was a reference to her Hull family attending the GF derby, rather than any indication of a more permanent move back...
So if a decision on the club he chooses depends on emotion and location, we've got to be the front runners. Leeds is just as bad as Hudds location-wise, and Sts might as well be in Siberia.
Guess we need to understand the root cause for Danny wanting to leave the Giants, then we may have more of a gleaming.

Was mentioned on the previous page in this thread. Would make sense in my mind, they could do with him, like we could, like Leeds could.

Huddersfield would not happily sell their best player when they don't need the money. They got a nice fee for ferres, and that alongside his wages coupled with those of the other vice captain Luke Robinson mean even after bringing in brierley they are still in pocket. Brough certainly isn't acting or playing like a player who wants out. I suspect this is just the annual rumour mill, made worse by some particularly nasty rumours about his personal life doing the rounds. Hes been signing for you every other year since he came to hudds hasn't he? If it's what he wants then fair play- but you are going to have to pay enough that hudds can replace him with a player of better quality -and that will be costly as Thurston won't come cheap .....
