Most worrying part is that we've gone away from what we were doing well in the first 2 games. it seems to me that if teams don't roll over and let us dominate then we are incapable of doing anything about it. Little or no support play, one man rugby, poor distribution from acting half, no dummy runners, no set plays, half backs who don;t run with the ball, clueless in the oppo 20 and shocking goal line defence. It's like 2014 and 2015 all over again. We've thrown away 4 points in the last week.
You can blame watts for his brainfart offload or sneyd for kicking the ball into his own player but the game was lost in that first half when we couldn't turn overwhelming field position into points.
Needs sorting and quickly or we could find ourselves in the mddle 8's
Middle 8s point is a good one. Widnes are racking up points and Salford look dangerous, even with a couple of points docked they'll be there or thereabouts. Catalans are always slow starters. It's hard to call who will join Wakefield IMO.

Yeah cos beating Catalans away in July and the reigning champions isn't comparable. .that with 4 rookies and a season long injury crisis. What's ridiculous is your notion that it's acceptable to finish outside the play-offs for a third season running and that with a squad that's the best we've had in years. You basically say it's okay to be mediocre! Mediocrity IS failure and if we do not reach the playoffs OR a final (no matter who we draw) that's exactly what we would be..bang average. Keep setting your sights low, you reek of failure.

Absolute rubbish, I said no such thing.

Very frustrating again . Why can we never seem to see a game out ? Poor discipline again . Woeful defending at times . No brains . Watts for me should be dropped, he is a penalty machine and his actions have cost us dearly . We lack an on field General , our halfbacks are just adequate, but will not propel us to the top echelon. Why can we never get hold of someone like Sandow or Lui ?

Either way I would leave Watts out next week of Frank is back. Not cutting it so far this season, and he's probably the only forward you can say that about.
Half backs simply not doing their job properly in the last 2 gaems. Forwards have laid a platform and we've had plenty of time in the opposition 20 metre area but the halfs have created very little.

Totally agree. They still look like strangers to each other, there is no partnership there at all. Neither have take any responsibility to get us on the front foot, that falls to Houghton. Very disappointed with them. Pryce to a degree I can accept and understand, he was a great player in his prime but that was a while back now and he's no longer up to it. Sneyd on the other hand just doesn't appear to have what it truly takes to be the commanding/dominating half we need to make us genuine challengers.

I think you can blame the halfs, but also our outside backs are firing and our wingers are too slow.
We had a couple of half chances that the Wigan wingers would have finished, we ours just don't have the pace off the mark. Micheals finished well, but if he was quicker it wouldn't have been so tight, like the Charnley try.
A couple of times we kicked ahead, which is pointless with our wingers, the only time it worked, Talanoa kicked it into row Z in the North stand.
