That's down to money, most of Rovers succesful signings have come raiding Wakey and Bradford, not too many come from Lancashire and they often miss out if they compete with the bigger sides like Dupree.

Good chance the Wakey source will dry up soon.

Will probably have to switch it to the cas source for 2025 if IMG gradings stay the same as this seasons

Not sure Cas have much quality, been poor at bringing players through, major flaw in Powell as a coach.

Agree and then add in the Radford factor which will bite them like it has us.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Mcmeeken, Partington, Johnstone & Davies all walking into our starting 13.

Wouldn’t be popular but I’d be looking at players like Matty Storton & Olly Russell for that extra squad depth.

Harry Ruston has a year left on his deal but I wonder with Watson and the size of the hudds squad they might let a few players move on.

Don’t think there’s much domestic talent knocking around apart from the obvious 4

I wouldn't bother with Russell, Storton maybe if we lose Brown.

We won't sign any of the first four, the days of signing popular domestic players are long gone, unless we find some investment sadly.

Mcmeeken, Davies and Johnstone will probably have every club in SL after them we'd have to offer mega bucks to even give ourselves a chance that's the only reason one of them would come here and I'm not sure we're in the position financially to make an offer like that.

What are peoples thoughts on Jake Bibby, probably better than Carlos, but I'd be looking at either someone younger with more potential or an overseas player the quality of Salfords two centres.

You could throw in the likes of O'Meley , Fitzgibbon , Manu ,Pritchard and those quality of names seem a million miles off now .
Quality players want to play with quality players , as well as lack of finances , We lack the other attraction also .

Sadly we aren't likely to be signing anyone of quality domestic or quota for the foreseeable as the club seems to lack an actual clear plan and a genuine drive/fight to get back to challenging.
