He's an absolute standout in the current game.

But he's not better than Billy slater otherwise he wouldn't of played for Italy

Tedesco wasn't a youngster in 2017 either he was 25

Damien cook is probably the best 9 Australia have and he didn't make his international debut till 2018 at the age of 28 !

These guys are apparently better than the likes of slater and Cameron smith yet couldn't get a look in when they was around

Don't get me wrong Australia will always be tough but they are definitely weaker than 2017

Err Dave ?
You do rate Jake very highly ..
i won’t get into the Jc debate as there’s a vocal fan club on here
Only thing I will say is last 5 seasons we have gone backwards and won nothing ..
It’s not JUST Jakes fault,
it’s the playing groups fault!!
BH &AP are proactively addressing it .
Whatever your b&W blinkers show
We all must agree that these regular hammerings must stop.
It’s damaging !!
No other club, not even Toulouse get thrashed like we do..

Are showing how SL has changed.
It’s about pace !!
If we are to move forward and challenge then we need pace in our playing group

If you Jc supporters think he’s our saviour? after watching wigan scalp us then you’ve got a lot of disappointment to come.

Spot on thats why i expect Hodgson to do a u turn on Jake Connor and play him at six next season or even when he is fit if Walker if still with us.
Simm would be a good start as a new centre and maybe fly over the new Ratu we have found in Nigeria

Connor is an excellent SL player, including being a good SL FB, he certainly isn't the best FB in SL and I've never said that, but he is so important to our team. He isn't the saviour, but when he plays we are a better team, the club need to support him by signing other creative players as as it stands for this season we don't have any in key positions. My biggest argument was that Connor was our best FB whilst one fan thought Shaul was better which is laughable.

If he gets injured first gane of the season and is out for the whole season we would be fighting Toulose and Wakey for relegation.

Looks like the club ate trying to address the situation and give Jake some support, the fact he has so many try assists is remarkable when you consider as an opposition coach he is our only threat.

Nrl a joy to watch - athleticism, skill & commitment week after week.

Super league lost its way - standards slipping year on year, not helped by covid, lack of funding, can’t watch it in comparison to nrl, boring style of play from most teams with really low skill levels.

Not sure how we improve - youth is the answer but our top prospects are being targeted by nrl, they will earn way more money over there & compete on a much bigger scale allied to the lifestyle, weather etc.

Officiating really poor as is the tribunal, the bunker & captains challenge work like clockwork over there, our alternate is a joke - makes me wince every time.

To think some people want the league to expand to 14 teams, can you imagine the standard of players that will be playing at the top level if that happens
