I'd sign another forward and hooker, but hooker has to be the priority IMO.
Go forward is ok, we got into their territory enough tonight, it's our attack.
I'm not a big Sneyd fan, but he had zero support tonight.
Agree. It's a specialist position. There's more to being a hooker than scooting from dummy half plus he's never played there before.
On reflection Mitch was the big positive, defence on point, and two great finishes. Sneyd in that first half was pretty unplayable, come the second he wasn't getting any support. Felt for Scott up against Big Jermaine he was taken to the cleaners. Thought the pack was outplayed for much of the game, and thats a rare thing, but clear to me the difference was Giants have been playing and we haven't, we were very rusty. However it was fantastic to be back at a game in the away end cheering the boys on, a crowd of 3,669 in think was announced, decent following from Hull, its going to take a time for a lot of people to be convinced to go back and will need a winning team. The next 5 games are going to be very interesting, Whinos, Saints, Wire, Dragons and Dobbins. Bring em on lets see how good the team really is.

On the beer front. Bradley Mills Club demolished. Ricky's demolished. Tried Gas Club but shut down and looks like its been left to rack and ruin. Things ain't what they used to be.

There was, you only had to look at the way our players interacted with him at the end of the game in the previous matches. I'm surprised it took this long for 1 of our players to unload on him after his conduct last season.

You could tell after 15 mins we were going to be in for a long night as players seemed gassed already which meant we started taking short cuts with laying on too long and not getting back onside.
The long kicking game was dreadful meaning we never made Huddersfield work to clear their line because too many of the kicks went dead.
People talking about converting Shaul into a hooker but I think it's Ben Mac that should be turned into a hooker. He doesn't have much pace but his passing is accurate and he is a good defender. He can't do any worse than Johnstone who seems so far out of his depth it's ridiculous and his attempt on Cudjoe for his try was just pathetic.
