You must have inspired him to have one of his less effective games, along with the other 16.

Only minichello over 30 in that pack. We need some impact off the bench

Was going to say the same, although I think Washy is over 30. But the point remains it was the energy in players we had out there that let us down. I suspect with Washy resigning and Turgut coming through that Thompson may be released, and some of Mahe's money used for an impact forward. Would have loved Fifita, exactly what we're lacking.
apart from Bowden who wasn't to bad our bench today was very poor, washy is good cover for Houghton but hes never gonna change a game from the bench, Thompson just runs across the pitch most of the time, fash and turgut are still young, hopefully get Hadley back next year, if we still have injuries in the next few matches maybe give rawsthorne a go on the wing? young big and quick,
once a black and white always a black and white COYH
Never mind your bench, your starring props for absolutely schooled today. Walmsley best prop, Toby showing why he will always be picked above houghton for England.
I'm sure you will have more good days then bad though.

See this is better, instead of Rovers fans coming on here just looking for bites, try and have some discussion about rugby, thankfully the England team is usually picked on more than one performance that's why Roby doesn't get picked anymore and the likes of Clarke and Hodgson play, he was excellent yesterday though, but that's mainly because of the forwards being on top and getting a quick play of the ball. Walmsley is great though, totally outplayed our props, who along with most others were poor.

By shipping out both Carney's they have purged themselves of expensive tool heads and don't seem to have any seriously disruptive players left in their squad.
As for Carney, a perfect fit for the dobbins. Scum bag, on the decline, poor disciplinary record and won't be too cheap - what more do you want? The best bit is he has 5 free weeks to introduce himself to his new team mates WAGs.
So much on the decline that he stands second in the average metres made per match table in SL.

That pack that was destroyed by St Helens? Age did not come into it. I guess their pack had an average age higher than FC's. It was not only the bench that lacked impact. You have a top class front row. Don't know where they were yesterday.
