You've constantly said " Pryce to stand off, Carlos to centre at the expense of Yeamo" last night proved it to be a disaster. Yeaman would have defended 2 of the tries. Carlos went good at six and Pryce was crap, hiding at the play the ball most of the game. Did Naughton make mistakes? yes he looked tired, yes he jogged back, but brought the ball out time and again, into a brick wall as Coffee woman said, he looked to have taken a knock early on, plus got Mason's knees in his back for his troubles. The game often looks different on tv don't you think. Maybe you'll take the blinkers off now.
Have to say Pryce was a massive disappointment last night for an experienced player who you'd expect to see pulling the team together when things werent quite as good as they should have been.
Last night proved that Yeaman (whether yo like him or not) coming back in had improved us massively down the edge and it was exposed last night without him as it was at the start of the season.
Generally though we were flat through the 80 mins and looked a very leggy and tired team. I think the fact we played a very strong Catalan team hasn't helped plus add in the fact the pitch will have been very energy sapping too due to the amount of sand on it and with only a 4 day turn around have all been factors.
Disappointed not to win and keep the run going but not to much as half expected a dodgy performance. Important thing is now to regroup and refocus and come out firing for the next game.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Agree with the last few comments on here thought last night Pryce and Naughton had there chance and blew it, Carlos will stay 6, Naughton back up to wingers at the moment. Yeaman back in after his rest. On the plus side Connor wow what a game more capable of covering 1 and 6 next season outstanding performance. I do worry about our six in the big games though still not convinced.
Always the Optimist never the Pessimist. Glass Half full not half empty man me.
Just listened to Radders interview after the game and like always he was honest and did not search for excuses. His view on the game was spot on.For me it was one of them games when you have to give credit to the opposition and the way they controlled the game with a great kicking game compared to ours. Dont think the Giants were great by any stretch but better on the night,as the game went on we got more frustrated and Manu really let it get to him. Hope we get a good reaction to this with Leeds and show SL we are the real deal.

agree with what most are saying, pryce crap should start with tuime, missed yeaman, and missed some players, but the main thing for me was we looked totally flat and tired, hudds played well and deserved the win, So we have a good break and hopefully get some players back, big game against leeds we need to win to keep up our challenge for getting as high as we can, COYH

We looked devoid of ideas and as plenty of others have said Pryce was the invisible man.
One thing that was glaringly obvious was that Huddersfield moved forward quickly in defence at the PTB stifling our attack. We looked to hang back and wait for them to come to us offering them easier yards up the field. Their defence slid very well when we did try moving the ball around.

The winning run was going to end at some point. In a strange kind of way I'd rather us lose by playing flat and be beaten by the better team, rather then the performance of a life time and get done by a fluke / poor decision.
Last night underlined Shauls quality and significance to the team.
Bit concerned that Pritchard never returned to the field. Any news on him?
1 defeat in 11.
2 defeats in 17.
I'd have taken that at the start of the season.
Need a reaction now from the squad and to go on another run of 5-6 games without defeat.
For the record we lost fair and square, but quite how Hudds 3rd try was allowed to stand is beyond me. A clear knock on.
