Is there any need to personally insult the guy just because you don't rate him as a coach?
No, you're right, he is a clueless individual that has, on the occasions I have met him, come across as being a poor communicator and struggled to sound encouraging.
To give a coach a two year contract extension just eight games into the season is far too soon - expecially one with a 43% win ratio. What if we lose the next three and then go out of the Cup?
I dont know what I'm more annoyed at , Another 2 year's of Agar . Or Rule and co giving him the contract !.

You used to be able to do it on hull daily mail website until they started putting the headline in the web address. Maybe Fc should do the same in future.
So you have nothing to do with the running of the web site? If not why did you say this:
WEBSITE MAINTENANCE THE DEVELOPER OF http://WWW.HULLFC.COM IS CURRENTLY UNDERGOING NECESSARY MAINTENANCE WORK. THIS WORK WILL BE COMPLETED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. WE APOLOGISE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS MAY CAUSE. A REPORT AND REACTION TO HULL FC’S SECOND VICTORY OF THE SEASON AGAINST HUDDERSFIELD GIANTS WILL FOLLOW THIS MAINTENANCE WORK.

I do see your point, and I like to try and do the same. I'm just struggling to see any evidence of what these other people have seen. Of course I don't get to watch training sessions.
What concerns me is that it's perfectly possible to be a decent coach on the training field but not be any good come match day. Oh well - looks like we have two years to see if he can realise the promise that some have seen in him.

I think we've definitely 'gone too early' on this. I said 10 games but in reality the Board should have maybe given him 16 or so before a decision. We are not pulling up enough trees to have decided now, recruitment options or no recruitment options. I like continuity and changing the coach every few games isn't the way but this was a bit early for me. I just hope that these players who appear to back him start to do so on the pitch. Top 6 would be a good finish this year and we cannot keep 'not turning up' either for Agar or more importantly the fans. If he makes it to the end of the new contract that would hopefully mean we've won summat.

but sure being a decent coach on the training field means showing tactics. innovation etc against the opposition, yet all we seem to see especially before this season was 5 drives and a kick or him admitting that he didn't have any tactics and told the team just to play it as you see it

Aye, agree with all that. Not sure how I feel right now TBH. Think I'm gonna go sleep on it - maybe when I wake up it will all have been a dream...

We have a top 8 squad, top 6 if things go our way. Our backs just aren't good enough yet for anything better than that. And TBH going from bottom 4 to top 8 in one season wouldn't be a bad season at all. Top 4 would require a pretty amazing set of circumstances IMO.
We had that many weaknesses in the squad, there was no way we could have addressed them in one off season. It looks like we have the forwards sorted, but the backs are weak. Agar admitted we are light in the backs just the other week. I presume that will be the priority when it comes to recruitment/retention. I'll be surprised if Agar is given a two year contract so early in the season, but maybe they want it sorted so they can then work on the playing squad for next year. What I do know is that personal insults don't give the anti Agar posters much credibility (& I'm speaking as someone not that impressed with him).
