I know, in my heart of hearts, that everything is pointing towards a comfortable win for them, and obviously this isn't exactly the greatest team we've ever had, but you can't spend your life cowering in the shadows, we all have to have belief in something, a ray of hope to hold onto. Hope, ultimately, is what allows all of us to live a positive life.
Having said all that, I'm still nervous as how the night could unfold, have a feeling my stomach will be doing somersaults by 8 tonight! Still, it's only a game, isn't it!!
You can eat all the All-Bran you like but I find that there is nothing better than Derby days for the gastric system. I Bloody hate them!!! AND as you get older they get worse!

I agree as whenever I feel a little bloated and blocked, I just think about the great unwashed or read some old guff they come out with it irritates the poop right out of me, just like magic.
Hopefully it will be an entertaining game to open the 2024 season as the game needs it. Fingers crossed we can manage to repel the borders and get the win as lord knows we need it.
With the recent wet weather combined with the new rules, new additions to both sides and first meaningful game of this years campaign its tough to know just how it will pan out. None the less I'll once again be taking my seat tonight but would be nice not to have my head my hands for a change.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

They have lost leaders like SKD, Linnett and Abdull - signed some backs that on paper look good, but Evalds aint no winger, and Hiku as a pivot could take a few weeks to get timings and fluidity. Their halves are talented players for sure, but there is no game manager between them and they've signed 2 pack members from a relegated side.
We played well in the first half against Wigan, then Wigan pulled away when our extended bench didn't match to theirs and we took players off. I think we will win tonight 18-10
3 big players for us and you can add schnieder to that list a lot to lose in one go
