Agree, and his instance of playing Full Back then created another problem with Shaul then having no role to play so we had a specialist full back on big aalary redundant. As far as I know Hudds have played Connor as a centre so far, it isnt demand where you play at other teams.

Don't think Smith is any better than we have, certainly no better than Brown, who can't get into our 17. Although if it's creates an overseas spot we can use that's good Look at his stats
I like Philbin, but losing our best forward for him, I'm not surethis is a great deal, also we are weak in the backrow, so would be stronger at prop and weaker in the backrow.

Unless we have a SR up our sleeve?
Feel indifferent on Dan Smith. He's alright. Feels more like an Evans replacement
Does seem like we're trying to free up some overseas spots with all the rumours around

I'd swap Smith for Evans certainly, but he doesn't always get into a poor Cas team, don't think he is better than our other props, seems a pointless signing.
Ideally Lovodua and one of Sao/Satae would go to Cas and Warrington, we get Philbin plus an opportunity to sign 2 overseas players, as we are well under cap, depends if Pearaon will put his hand in his pocket.
We need to see what happens to Clifford, as can't go with McNamara and Sutcliffe.

If we get like for like players with a better attitude, then that's a start and if they come on lower wages, we can then use that spare cap for an upgrade on some of the dross

I've liked him since we played them at KC maybe 5 years ago and the first carry of the 2nd half he bust through and went about 70 metres up the field. Think we went on to win that game. He might not be the best prop in the league, but he knows how to run the ball in properly and not take it from a standing start like our forwards.

We also maybe want to free up a quota place as surely its about time for the annual NRL player has been a muppit and needs to come to SL to save his career time. Cant we ask the NRL clubs when they're team nights out and we'll stick some money behind the bars
