I not sure I agree to be honest, how many coaches is sport when sacked due to the results and performances not being up to the expectations and targets get the opportunity to say good bye to the fans? He has gone and as a club we move on and so will Lee.
Yes he brought two Challenge Cups back and was the first Coach to get a Wembley win and he will go down in history for that and will always be held in the fans affections for that. That said since the last win we have failed to deliver any real challenge to the league and GF and a string or woeful performances and record defeats and in reality his dismissal should have come before the end of last season.
