I think there is possibly some truth in the Chase rumours however I think the price tag to take him this year was stupid money but I would not be surprised to see him join us next season tbh.

I find it strange after week-ends headlines re: In the Chase for H/Back, then a few days later a couple of articles within literally 24 hrs playing things down, maybe we need to publicly state we are not desperate thus not prepared to pay stupid money to clubs, all part of the negotiating game imo.

Yes I think it would tbh, I heard they wanted 300k and we are only prepared to go 200k (obviously this is just pure speculation by people), I believe Cas actually want rid of him if I am honest and if this is correct they will end up taking the best offer in closed season and I also a lot of teams won't touch him due to his baggage so I doubt it will be a bidding war....Mind on saying all that it is worth noting I love a good conspiracy

The rumour I heard and posted was that we are signing Chase and that it might even be for this season. I or nobody i've seen said this was definate, just a rumour. People I know are still convinced it's happening but don't know when. I'm reserving judgement as knowing FC we will end up with no one.
Rather than rolling your eyes why not just don't come on the thread or better still lets not have a rumours thread cos from what I can see all people do is moan.
