The comments above ?

How's 8th in the league anything to be positive about ?

When leigh have shown you don't need 17 world beaters to challenge

Yet we just make excuses all the time "oh wait till he's got his team" etc

next season oh yep next season it's always next season

You know why and which comments.

No one is really saying the 8th is great however putting it all in to context from where we were at the end of last season and with all the constraints, 8th is a positive which most rational supporters can comprehend.

Again most supporters know you don't need and can't have 17 world beaters hence why most can see why players like Fash and Cator are needed at the club.

As for making excuses about needing his own team, you yourself have gone on and on about the number of poor players you think are at the club all of which are/were under contract when TS came in. So unless the club could have paid off all these players contracts there is little that could've been changed (though the club have done what they could) so whether we like it or not we have to wait and be patient. Those are plain facts not excuses.

Its been discussed plenty by everyone on here and rightly so that the 'its always next season' line won't work anymore however the changes made by TS within the club and amongst the same core group have shown big improvements in attitude, effort, application, performance and consistency. This again points to the current season as being positive as we have seen a distinct change in the style of play to a more entertaining brand of rugby and more improvement & change in 8 months than we had seen in the previous 4+ years.

It really isn't and shouldn't be that difficult to understand.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Slightly off topic, but if it was “AN” airport, which plane would you be, I’ve got you down as a Fokker, one of the later models.

We're playing more flowing rugby

But our better players are leaving without Clifford and swift I don't know where we'd be without them

But my point is we will never get to that next level with certain deadwood still in the team

And we will be having this discussion this time next season 100% until they are gone

Here's a suggestion. Every member of this forum should put The Talent Boy on ignore. Then the only person who will be able to read his posts will be him.

Great idea, ignored him months ago but posters continue to quote him so I still get to read his drivel. Now he’s taking on Chris71 and that can only lead to one thing

Did that a while ago although I believe he struggles with that concept.

Unfortunately, Chris being a moderator, is not allowed to use the ignore button on posters.

to be fair Chris your comment should be aimed both ways and not to just one poster
Whether you agree or disagree with his comments he has a right to post comments within the rules.
Its the herd mentality on here that needs sorting out

I agree, hence why I have put several reminders on different threads for everyone to see, almost like I'm a broken record, so if you check back they haven't been aimed at one poster. I've been fairly lenient and fair but if a friendly reminder is needed to any member I have no qualms in doing so (no matter who) in trying to keep the Hull FC board enjoyable for the majority of users.

Your doing a good job and how nice it is to have a mod who features regular on here and can see the spoiling tactics a small minority use to the detriment of the many who just want a measured discussion about our club.Lets discuss lets fall out and lets disagree but lets do it in a civilised manner. The only ones who complain are the very ones that spoil balanced discussion. For me personally, It's become a much better place to be of late.
