Im not so sure if your a WUM, enjoy being controversial or just a negative person.
The season isnt great, far from it. However these problems where here long before Smith arrived. Hes being brought in to do a job, oversee a squad rebuild. Whether he will win any trophies remain to be seen but make no mistake about it Pearson is backing him. He will be here next season, the fact Smith hasnt cone out with any outragous claims shows he knows the squad isnt good enough. Hes not an idiot.
About time somebody went through this club with a fine tooth comb and got rid of yhe people not giving a return on the wage.
He will big them up obviousley in the press, give them clean slates and change things about. Because the hope is he can sort the good and the bad out of the 20 out of contract. He will test youngsters but be ruthless with them as well.
Ive no problem with how he is handling stuff, I told myself a long time ago we wouldnt do anything this season. I dont understand what people where expecting really. Its obvious he is here to oversee a squad rebuild and back room staff change.

I can get FC at even money to win! not sure that’s realistic I just can’t see a win unless something happens like a sending off or something to totally change our players mind sets

6/5 with Ladbrokes and I'd usually fill my boots, and I still might, but it'll be heart over head.

I think we could see a big improvement attack wise with Mac back in I know he's not brilliant but at least he has an idea in the position unlike lova who looked lost. It will be a big help to Jake Clifford allowing him to play his normal game. Not sure about some of the selections but hey ho lets wait and see, I am probably mad but I fancy an FC win.

Excellent post
Obviously we would love to win this game but the more important thing is to plan for the long term and I believe a large percentage of fans are willing to back Smith in this and give him as long as it takes.
