What was appealing was the pathetic attempts to tackle made by Griffin and Abdul. Griffin looks like a flat track bully to me , big strong lad who looks good when in a dominant side, as soon as the going gets tough he disappears. I remember him at Trinity playing in our under 23 team, he was the most talented player in the side by a mile but was pathetic when we played the top sides.
tbf last night most tackles where awful, it was across the board, thought tuime and binman where terrible, infact that's a bit harsh as there all where, farimo ran hard as did masi . taylor did his ususal stint but where scraping the barrel here,

That Australian climate must do different thinks to different people. You seem of fairly sound mind Freddie, whilst it's obviously sent Tarquin round the proverbial bend.

he was signed in desperation by Radford He is 21.yes its relatively young but there are younger players playing half back in Super League who will make the grade.Cant see Harris as a Super League player in the future unless he surprisingly develops later in his twenties

carlos and faraimo missed more tackles than griffin but seem to be immune from criticism

Taken from HDM player ratings
Josh Griffin: Comfortably the worst player on the pitch, not even his second half try could salvage himself some pride after a lacklustre performance. 2
Its not just about missed tackles Jake. I have always said Griffin was poor signing.never a centre in a million years. Cant tackle, cant Pass,no footwork, slow and very lazy.needs to be binned for me as he offers nothing.Put him up against any decent Super league centre and he goes missing. Please dont tell me about all the metres he made when he had four or five decent games in the two seasons he has been here.

I don't need the opinion of some halfwit reporter from the hulldailymail to tell me if someone has played well. The whole backline was shocking and I'd have both talanoa and faraimo down as being as bad, if not worse than griffin.
griffin had a very poor game but thought tuime had a worse game, infact apart from a few good runs from fairimo the whole backline was shocking, griffin is the new whipping boy,

At least Tuimavave tried whilst Griffin is just lazy. Griffin has never been rated by most Hull Fc fans just a few on here who just couldnt see his many limitations, so is not the new whipping boy. Be interesting to see if he really has an injury

Well Griffin was at his best mates wedding today so maybe didn't want to be just for that. That plan failed.
