I think we have made the right decision not to pay over the odds and wait and see who is available, might also give us a chance to see more of the likes of Lancaster and Naughton, who maybe like Logan will show they are ready.
On Wakey I agree with other posters that they are building a good little team, will be interesting to see how they go, personally not convinced by Smith, he has been out of the game for a few years and last season despite bringing a few players, didn't improve them too much and still hardly won a game against SL opposition and scarped past most of the championship teams. I guess we will see next season.
Bit harsh, thought he did a decent job to be fair, considering what he took over. Completed his goal, keeping them in super league

Definitely. Can't think of any other reason why he wouldn't want to join the dominant, all conquering Hull side. He's probably gonna miss out on a couple of Super League titles now.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, I had us tagged for a good cup run and just maybe squeezing into the top 4. 2 Super League titles will do for me.

We might not be all conquering, but we miles ahead of Wakey and have just about finished above you every year in SL. If we wants to play in the middle 8's again and play against the likes of Sheffield and Halifax instead of the top teams, then that's up to him.
I would say the same if a player choose us over Leeds.

over ambitious maybe, I think he believed like many of us, we are club that would be challenging. We've had some great players over the last few seasons that have probably thought the same
