Possibly there has been an overreaction to Saturday's loss (and if so then I'm one of the guilty parties) but I think there is a reason behind it.
Many fans were dubious about Agar being appointed coach after Sharp got the bullet, and voiced those concerns on here. I was one of them. At the same time most of us hoped to be proven wrong.
Along comes this season and it looks like we were indeed mistaken. Five wins from five and while things weren't perfect we began to relax. The loss against Cas was really down to the players, but caused a minor flutter. Then along comes Saturday, looking like a repeat of last season, and all those concerns come flooding back. In spades.
FWIW I'm back where I started with Agar and Sharpe - unconvinced but hoping to be wrong. I certainly don't think that even contemplating a change of coach is sensible. We have what we have and all we can do is hope that Agar learns from the undoubted mistakes made and we kick on.
I'm not very optimistic. But then I'm a dyed-in-the-wool pessimist anyway.
