I also saw him play there pre-season v Hudds last year when he made a 60 yard break through the middle of their pack.
I think he looks a class act as a centre as well as a class act on the wing. Guess if we chose to he could be the long term replacement for Raynor as he has a lot of key traits that that position requires, would just love to see him play centre.
Against? I saw every single game last season and can only think of him playing centre once or twice? TBF I am getting old so the memory isn't as good as it was. Before deciding to move our international Centre to the 2nd Row I'd want to see just how well Briscoe can play at Centre in SL over a sustained period.
As for Yeamo I really dont think he has the physical size to be running into the heavy traffic week-in week-out.

Cant remember who against. (i dont even remember what i was doing yesteday) I know he played there a few times though, maybe only once or twice but that was enough.
Im not going to comment about our 'international' centre, think he could be better utilised elsewhere TBH but im looking forward to seeing him prove me wrong and put a really poor 2008 to bed.

I am looking forward to seeing Yeaman back to form in the centres this year. Played well at Leeds particularly in defence, by the end of the game the Leeds centre knew what was coming and it certainly effected his game! Resorted to trying to flick the ball to his winger before the inevitable smash...

Hope he re-captures his 2007 form, i really do. I just think that if we were to try and fit Briscoe, Hall and Yeaman in the side moving Yeaman into the pack in 2010 is an option. The other options obviously are to play Briscoe on the left wing or play Hall at full back. We may do all of the above and play G Horne and Whiting as our centres in 2010!!

I would prefer his 2006 form personally.
Briscoe showed that he would be a more then able stand in for Raynor for the first 7 or so games and indeed may have a future on the wing. Took a few kicks and looked very strong carrying the ball out.
I would see how they all develop this year because I am sure both Briscoe and Hall will get game time in a few different positions and it is up to them to take that chance and claim a position as their own.

Not for me. I've yet to see any genuine Centre play from him. All his best work has been on the wing so far and the more he plays the more suited he seems to the wing IMO.

Totally agree he has had a bad couple of years but so has the team generally. If the team starts to show a bit more in attack then I think we will see Yeamo get back to his best this year. If he isn't going to play Centre I dont see how shifting him to the back row (an area we seem to be strong in) is a good use of his talents. Id rather get rid.

Disagree but guess we'll see, im just happy with him in the side TBH.

He's a stronger carryer of the ball than all of our back rowers other than Manu IMO, he lacks a passing game as we all know, he isnt the quickest but is as strong as an Ox. All of the above for me makes him sound like a better back row than a centre anyway. If Radford does go to Union there may well be a space to fill. Definately wouldnt get rid, would just have a positional re-think.
No you dont know me Dave T! I dont associate with people as positive as you....
Looking forward to seeing Craig hall play full back this week?
Im just looking forward to getting to a game of rugby and actually getting the chance to see some of our kids play too that ive heard good things about. Dont get the chance to go over to Brantingham often enough.
