No way, Rovers don't sign players from the championship.

That’s fine. He’s not deadwood. He’s a player with great ability, and I really hope Wane includes him in next years World Cup squad.
I’m sure he will, as he can ask the most experienced coach in the Northern Hemisphere about his abilities.
I retract all my previous comments, and if I ever see Ben I’ll buy him a cone of chips from Craven Streat.

You’d think the analysts at every club would be telling their pivots to do the same, and as often, if it is as easy as he makes it look… so maybe it isn’t?

It’s a good weapon to have. We just don’t need to use it all the time (even though we do)

Don’t be ridiculous, why would they?

Based on doing what your opponent doesn’t want you to do as much as possible, I understand why you use it so often. Even knowing it is coming, there’s not much a defending team can do to improve their odds. It is the same 4 points however they are scored, with the chance of a defender knocking on even if you don’t get the try.

Less effective with Thaler as VR, sometimes admittedly.

It is effective to be fair. Just after six years it gets a bit repetitive.

I’d love to see what % of tries now come from kicks generally. It might get to the stage where you get more points from a try not scored from a kick. There again, I think you should get less points from tries scored from that lateral move every team does. Along the line, couple of dummy runners, cut out ball to the winger.
I agreed with AP a few weeks ago when he said most teams play the same way, with the same plays and it’s getting boring.

I think Rovers playing a more unstructured style has got them some fans, especially at Sky, but it’s nothing ground breaking. Cas did it in 2017 as well. It’s just that it’s refreshing because rugby league now is so staid and % based. I can’t stand Rovers (as you’d expect), but I’m not going to decry how they play the game at times.

It’s amazing when you watch old games on YouTube, and you see halfbacks chip and chasing on the third tackle. No players trying to dominate the ruck area. Just players getting on with it, and playing what’s in front of them.

It must be easy for players to switch clubs now, as they don’t have to learn any new plays!

People might not like him, but Chris Hill would have been a good signing for a couple of years.

Alex Foster has been released from Cas. Can cover backrow, centre and I'd argue at a push prop. Good honest player

Tyrone Peachey has been released from GC along with Mitch Rein.

Rein is probably a bit too long in the tooth, but I'd definitely consider Peachey. Even if it meant losing Ma'u

Lachlan Lewis released from the doggies too. Probably not good enough for the NRL but could offer cover at half
