Positives
Effort
Goal line defence
Scramble/cover defence
Herman
Aydin
Litten
Moy

Negatives

Slow start
Lack of size in the forwards
Back row
Centres
Missed tackles
Discipline
Fash

And what a grubby team rovers are. Peters was a grub as a player so no surprise. Constantly whinging to the ref, waving their arms about, rolling around in the floor trying to milk sending offs. Hilarious to watch

Unfortunately in the modern game players like Minchella and Lewis (and Connor when we had him) are actually able to exist and thrive. Minchella is a fake hard man who can act as tough as he likes because he knows nobody is ever actually going to throw a punch at him. He wouldn't have lasted 10 minutes in a game 20 years ago before somebody like Fielden gladly sat him on his booty.
Likewise Lewis. All the whining and chirping in opposition ears he does would have been dealt with in a timely manner and he'd be a shell of the player he is. I know some of the things he was saying to Jack Charles during the last derby at Craven Park and fair play to Charles for not reacting to him because most of the previous generation of players would have left Lewis needing to be carried back off the pitch. Good player but a pathetic person.

Plenty of effort on show from.your boys ill give you that, Moy was great, Litten and Martin played really well, Eseese and Aydin were fantastic but for me your best player and you lot won't agree with me, was Fash, he came on same time as we lost Evalds and Lewis went to fullback, he's come on with the task of halting Rovers rhythm, disrupt and spoil, and I'll tell you what, he did it really really well, maybe a masterstroke of Grix's who knows. Watch it back, he's at the centre of every skirmish from 20 minutes on. And knocked Rovers out of there stride.

Your full of effort now which is a good sign, but lack that bit of quality needed win games.

Some black n white tinted glasses being worn aswell judging by the chip on the shoulder comments.

Agree bishops finger.
Fash did get stuck in, he made a difference. The game got scrappy and it helped bring us in to the game.
I’m looking forward to seeing Fash get even better once he’s got more support around him.

I agree - what a trait for a Coach. The last time we had a coach
That good was Agar I think.
Sign Grix up for 5 more years

I’m watching the 2nd half

Go to 52.30 and watch Balmforth

He’s way too slow - then watch his tackle then watch what he does as the play moves to the right

Balmforth couldn’t have made Tackle 24 never mind 54

He’s too slow and too unfit - a job for the new coach !!!

It’s clear that we have increased our enthusiasm. Rovers looked average and won’t make a GF this year or the next 10. We will make a GF before they do.

For JC in 2025

1 The players need to be 50% fitter
2. They all look like they could manage another 5kg of body muscle especially the younger guys Ala Moy Charles Litten
3. Get a heavy fast pack to let our pivots run riot4.
4. A beast at Centre !!! PLEASE
5. Trueman to step up properly or step down. This is not finishing school. He should already be the amazing player we pay for.
6. J Lane to Fev asap
7. Carlos Ligi to say goodbye

Anyways there’s my 10c

Grade F is 6+ matches or a period suspension.
