Better intensity 2nd half, but too many simple errors to win the game. Isa showed what Wigan are about with his chase down of Sneyd for his drop goal attempt.

Can't fault the effort. Nothing between the two sides, surprised how close it was. Last tackle plays poor again, needs sorting and too many errors. Missed Paea's go forward tonight IMO, although Taylor was excellent.
all in all thought they give it a real dig tonight, Masi looked good, green looked ok, but we flagged last 10 min which is understandably, we derserve a break now and hopefully get a few bodies back, still think we can get third,
once a black and white always a black and white COYH
Tough to take that. Good effort from the lads. Attack was a bit flat again and some sloppy errors. Ultimately the 8pt try was the difference. Usual display by Wigan.
Fine margins and probably cannot complain about the outcome but - How does Isa stay on the pitch after the late tackle on Sneyd and then barging into him as he leaves the pitch? The ball was clearly knocked down from Fash before Wigan’s next score Wigan surely should have been on a warning and then a man off for the persistent head high tackles.

Wigan are timing their run aren't they? Chat on social media about not looking past them to retain their title.

Credit to Lee Radford for getting the guys to give such an effort backing up from the semi.
If he could only get them to perform at the same level technically we'd be world beaters.
But surely thats were a good coach earns his money We have had these same deficiencies season after season Radford needs to play his strongest team and stop trying to accomodate an additional centre or stop playing players like Green and Hadley because they are leaving. You cant tell me that Green is not a better front row than Fash or Dean Hadley is not a better second row than Lane. Stop messing around and Play Griffin from the start in the second row so that Connor can start at right centre and Carlos switch to left centre to bolster the defence on the left. Radford cant be blamed for giving away cheap possession but his team selection last week and today has cost us wins
thought we relied on the backs for go forward at a crucial time in the game and we came unstuck with errors, saw jon wells point it out how we tried spreading it wide amd came unstuck instead of grinding it down the middle, interestingly we did the same against rovers away, i thought the spell we did do it Green and Masi didnt get much ball at all, either not being assertive enough or houghton not finding them, it needs sorting as we lapse big time when it happens
For the record masi was brilliant the last 20 , i wonder if radders told him to demand the ball more after his first stint

Yeah I struggled to see how Tommy L didn't knock it on. When he's stood facing forward and just bats the ball straight down it's gutting to see it not given as a knock on.
