Totally ridiculous award of MoM - Maloudi had a couple of good moments but goodness he's not the brightest, loads of errors and poor decisions. Radford was spot on Maloudi wasn't in the top 10.
Paea - never as good second time around is it.
The starting pack looked very strong and Connor & Kelly are talented half backs?
The weakest thing was the bench. Last week Rovers brought on Masoe, Mulhern, Lunt & Kavanagh and Huddersfield couldn't cope. Washbrook, Matongo, Fash & Downs had the opposite effect.
Sneyd is a massive loss and Connor for all his talent isn't really a half back.
Injuries do take their toll. You can raise your game one week but the next week and the next week? That's when it get's hard. I really wish we had played you this week you were very flat and I don't think Huddersfield had much to beat.

Admittedly we look to be running on fumes at the mo from missing so many first team regulars for such a long period of the season.
We need to be able to adapt our style of rugby for when we plan A either isn't working or we just don't have the players to carry that out.
Defensively this season we have been below par
The structure is fine if the props turn up, they haven't thats why we have lost against teams we should win. No go forward or no quick play the balls will result in a dead attack no matter how many plans you have in the locker.

hull2524 wrote:still like to see how we perform with a decent team on the field, as others have said, downs fash logan not cutting it, id like to think with binman griffin sneyd in the backs, manu westy and Bowden back we would be a lot better, think the top 4 gone now but if wigan and leeds win its back on,
Downs I agree with, Logan was essentially backsquadded in 2016 to make way for Fonua, then we signed Connor and Griffin so backsquadding/stunting his development further and really is being asked to cover injuries nothing more and sporadically at that due to the coach picking a second rower over him on one occasion so think your comment is unfair about not cutting it. As for Fash, had been excellent until his injury and playing in a much weakened team it's too easy to say he's not good enough loan hom out, I think you're wrong, very young, has great endeavour if not size and I'd sat loaning him out would be an injustice to him and again stunt his development not to mention a kick in the knackers. You might as well say put Houghton and a couple of others to Donny for a few weeks given how they've done if that is your yardstick. It simply is not always the solution to simply send players out on loan.
Don't think Talanoa strengthens us any but the rest is a gimme in terms of making the team stronger IF they perform to expectations. We just need to keep plugging away, grab wins however and see what occurs whence the 8s start, it aint over til its over.
If Radford did say that, that's absolutely disgraceful and disrespectful by him, sorry but he should shut his mouth or say something else. He might be angry but to disrespect a player like that is not on!

Can we please put this injury thing to bed Please For those of us lucky enough to be at Elland rd in 82 - remind me again the injury list we had that night A 39 year old winger ? Retired hooker ? Please Stop mentioning injuries That’s why Connor is number 34 ! We have a squad of full time players aged over 18 Lee Crooks was 18 at Elland Rd that night
You should always imagine your full squad then take 4 players out and that’s how it’ll be for the whole season on average
We are losing in the Mental stakes and that’s the coach - Simple !!!!!!! We played as if AP had come into the dressing room and offered the team a bonus of 500 quid each if they won Initially it looked like it hard had an effect then after about 15 mins the players seemed to realise that was a puss take
3rd and a CC win x 2 and probably 6th and no silver
Is that enough ? Maybe ?
Is that enough for AP ? Fans in general ?
Personally I would think long and hard about the set up for next season I really would Would I make a decision - If wait until season end then decide The coach needs to think long and hard as to how he wants this season to play out It should be a credit to him not a blot on his track record

I kind of agree, singling players out is something he did in his first season in interviews. Like to see the 10 ahead of him though, at least he puts his hand up
bumpy imo logan was top notch then got injured, hes done ok and offers cover but don't think he will be in our 17 when all fit, fash has the heart of a lion but for a prop just isn't big enough, again a good squad member, didn't mention loaning them out but not good enough to be in a starting 17 when everybody fit, there do a job but we struggle when there play a few matches, like to see litten given a run,
once a black and white always a black and white COYH
