I wouldn’t have liked to of been whoever it was who threw the ball at Litten , because he didn’t sound like he would be backwards in coming forward to them in the bar after the game. He seemed a tad annoyed about a few of the fev lot
Ref and Bentham should be charged with bringing game into disrepute, absolute shocker and knowing what we do about contact sport (any level, any country) it was entirely predictable what was going to happen, and it did. His failure and that's what it was, steered the course of the game, FC should ask the RFL to investigate both he and Bentham, that early decision can only have happened due to intervention from elsewhere (keep the game close/not a runaway) or the official is bent/has a personal agenda or simply not fit to officiate in any capacity. Not surprised Radford is furious, our fans and AP should be too.
As for Hock, he's not a sandwich short of a picnic, more like no rug, no basket, no pickled onions, no fizzy pop, nothing.

He certainly looked like he was about to give a card but then got a word in his ear. The contact was ok, so I would have been ok with it not being a red, but to show no card when the ball was so far away is a ridiculous decision.
It was just a horrible, spiteful game. Once Fev knew they couldnt handle us legally the niggle started, then the niggle turned into thuggery, and then we started to react and both teams just dragged each other down and down until the last 10 minutes was farcical. Had there been another 5 minutes left to play it could easily have ended up abandoned.
It was probably kind of entertaining for the neutral, but hope I never see Hull involved in another game like that again tbh.

Correct. Absolutely disastrous night. At least we didn't go out as holders in the first round like we did at Odsal in 2006.

Before the game I was thinking we were getting close to the 'throw all our eggs in one basket' with regard to CC retention. I know it's the Grand Final we all crave, but hey, circumstances, and all that. A triplet of black and white ribboned silverware lifting in the Wembley sun wouldn't have been bad compensation.
Think that's even shafted with the quarters only three weeks away.
