Our one the line defence was absolutely dire, we're slow in every aspect of the game, and Mickey Paea out-halved Sneyd. Also where have Westy's kicking boots gone? If we're gonna score down our left with Yeamo being out then we need a right footed kicker.
All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason. -Emmitt Smith

Dumb play and poor handling let us down, but at times we played some good rugby and scored some excellent trys.
You had to be there to see how good Ellis was, dropped the first ball and looked injured, but after that ran so hard, set up two trys and great defence, think he played the full 80.
Thought Sneyd made a big difference, make a couple of mistakes, but caused problems with his running, passing and short kicking game, needs to improve his goal kicking though.
Logan had a great game as did Michaels (Who I have been critical of, but is happily proving me wrong, too great finishes today).
Houghton and Pryce ran really well, if only we backed up Pryce.
If we had more confidence and cut out the silly errors we won have won easily.
Credit to Wakey though, look a total different team under Smith, Miller caused us a few problems today.
.... good summary, so much better than the radio Humberside/twitter interpretations.
Ellis was exceptional - worrying, though, that he insisted he was ok to play despite being told he needed a 4 to 6 week layoff because of his knee injury.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Sounded like another excellent effort from us and both teams probably happy with what they got from today's game...
We're kind of like in pre season mode at present gearing up for the muddle 8's...As a team who have been rock bottom all year and taken hiding after hiding, I'd just be interested to see how you Hull fans think we will go in that?
You've seen us twice in a week now....we've struggled most of the season missing key players but the way we are building we could have a healthy squad when the Middle 8's start....Locke at full back....Godinet and Tim Smith at halves....our best three props Scruton, Anderson and Simon...and our skipper Kirmond along with Washy and Annakin as backrowers to add to what we had on the park today...

They slowed the game down and played the ref well, we looked low on confidence and a bit tired at times (but we will be after 3 games in a 9 days).
Sneyd had a big part in 4/5 trys today.
Certainly wasn't perfect and we have been a bit unlucky to play Wakey twice at this stage of the season, but it was 2 points and an entertaining game, so better than recent matches.
If ellis has to take a few weeks off we are in big trouble,he is one of the best forwards we have had for a long time, thoroughly commited to the cause and a truly inspirational leader. Was mini injured or just rested ? COYH

Injured, spoke in the bar before the game, think he could be back next week, if not for the derby.

Wishing you all best for rest of the season!
the two games we played against each other its hard to judge how you will go, mainly because of our short turnarounds between games
going by the catalan away game viewing, shouldnt see any reason why you wont be in the SL next year with the additional signings you have made

How many goal attempts did Sneyd miss? 4 or 5?
Hard angles I know but kick a couple then maybe we wouldn't have panicke
Been disappointed by Sneyds goalkicking particularly when wide out seems to miss a lot. There are several far better goal kickers in super league than Sneyd
