Like i said previously he shouldn't have said anything with regards the fans......i honestly don't think he hasn't said the comments that have been attributed to him.
The small badge on the front will always be bigger than the name on the back
The headlines are a little OTT e.g. "Agar Hits Out at Fans"
His comments regarding the reaction last night were:
Quote:I don't think it's helping. We've got a nervous team that's low on confidence and you can probably see it's not helping. It's there for all to see. I think the game was in the mix and it always helps when we get their help.
We're frustrated, we're all frustrated and it's a tough time but there are reasons and very mitigating factors behind that. We are underperforming but it's at times like this we need their help more than ever and without doubt it has a pretty detrimental effect on the team.
Its not the first time the South stand has reacted to a bad situation like last night when Celtic scored. I remember when Saints hammered us 0 - 42 and the South stood up and cheered the Saints team back at about 36 nil up. It was more a mark of respect to Saints then a slight at FC, I suspect last nights was in similar vein.
I stand by my earlier comments, even though I have never booed or walked out on FC ( except Wembley 1983 when I left early). I do not agree with boing the team, but I think if fans have to then its there choice and I keep my gob shut.
Rich Agar should have done the same, he can think it he can never say it. He has to go now and it is now only a matter of time as he has now presented himself as the fall guy, Saturday will be the end.
The FC team will see to that, they like the fans have clearly had enough.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.;

1. "Nervous team" - Lack of man management - Manager's job.
2. "Low on confidence" - Instill confidence - Manager's job.
3. "There are reasons" - As Agar is the Manager,its up to him to sort it out.
All 3 reasons which Agar alluded to ,are his domain.
He's trying to deflect the blame for his own inadequacies.
The brilliant fans,which Rule has always praised, but not now!! according to Agar.
People spend hard earned money, travel many miles, and then witness 13 individuals, playing rugby league, where there is no cohesion,teamwork.
Our squad have players, who have won major finals,played internationals,and yet Agar states the players arent good enough.
