As for paying him for the last few months, what the hell are the club supposed to do ?? If we hadn't paid him or we hadn't stood by him and waited for the ridiculous immigration halfwits, what sort of image would that have portrayed to the Aussie agents and players ??
The club have done everything they could and I, for one, am just really looking forward to seeing him play for us, especially next season.
Agree 100%...Who cares what he has been paid.He is a contracted Hull F.C. player.I am just looking forward to seeing him play for us now.
Think you may be getting carried away by how good this guy is. The Warriors were glad to get shut of him and he never made the NZ squad last season he only made the Tongan one.

I bet we hardly see him on the pitch this season but I suppose at least he will be here and not thousands of miles away !!
With typical under-statement, Saints coach Mick Potter said: "Sean Long didn't surprise me. We all know how good he is and he should be happy with the way he went." That could be translated as, "damn him, damn, damn him, the little ..."

Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else.
Quite sad, really!
SPOT ON!
