It’s not even the same sport anymore. I posted on our board, the origin game if played here, under the current interpretation of the rules, sees a few red cards and bans in the dozens handed out.

There has to be a massive get together of players, coaches, referees, disciplinary board members and even fans to see exactly where we’re heading and how we want the game to look in 5 years. The refs can’t do it all themselves! Players feigning injury every few minutes is a huge issue.

You didnt see your man Griffin chasing back.At least Simm and Walker chased back and put some effort in.
Its not fitness with Griffin its laziness and attitude, well hopefully the coach has seen enough and he joins Shaul on the get rid list.
just so that you get it i have cut and pasted a post from another poster

Irregs#16

Seen the 7 French tries, Griffin at fault for 3 IMO before he was pulled. The one in the 2nd half, he was appalling, poor attempt on Pearce-Paul then even worse trying to get French

Now that I totally agree

Any milking penalties ie diving to the floor should be a red will soon stop it all

Was good to see a scrap without red cards been dished out its supposed to be RUGBY LEAGUE NOT NETBALL

Result that was probably expected, but it still doesn’t make it easy to take. A big reality check for the lads and particularly the young ones. Which in hindsight might not be a bad thing, keeps them grounded and shows they’ve got hard work to put in to reach the top.

Almost feel sorry watching griffin chasing shadows for 80 minutes, sadly the injury has ruined him, genuinely think he’s done at this level at both centre or 2nd row.

Huge game against Cas which imo will define our season. We should have a few back however losing tag and Satae tonight is far from ideal

It’s the floating supporters we need to attract, not the diehards. 60 point defeats don’t help us in that. Seems to be a malaise in supporters attitudes as we repeat another slide into the end of a season.

Even the third best team in Super League can’t beat Saints with a man advantage for 60 minutes. Hard to get enthused about the game at the moment.

I’ve said it before, Huddersfield are so yawningly boring, process process win nowt, another excellent Australian Luke Yates, galvanises them. Whilst Welsby has the magical abilities of a modern day Ben Barba, there something in this performance par excellence, what who knows, desire, ability, something in the coffee.

"I don't think there's any major issues we need to highlight" says Hodgson. Surely conceding 60 points twice in the last 3 games is a major issue that needs highlighting...injuries or no injuries. Even Toulouse haven't conceded 60 in a single game

With a nights remove from the result I'm struggling to get too worked up over the result.
It easy to forget that earlier in the season with pretty much a full side to pick from we nearly beat Wigan and then did actually beat them.

Last night we had half the squad in the stands, the ones left are mostly young kids, recent acquisitions and players in their twilight years. Add to that losing our best non-kid/old man player early on coupled with Wigan being in red hot form currently.

Yes, 60-0 isn't a good look but its understandable in the context and not nearly as bad as the Leeds game imo.
It gets a massive a shrug from me and I'll move onto the Cas game which we have a realistic chance of winning.

Completely agree with this. The biggest negative from last night was the loss of Satae - any slim chance of a play off place goes with him. Any update?

Some awful defence particularly the Geiffin, Longstaff and Simms side. Should be Griffins last game at centre.

Mau, Evans, Sao, Wynne and hopefully Connor back next week for a must win game.

Although as others have mentioned, I'm not sure a play off game is a good idea.
