To be fair we’d have crumbled and caved in last season but again they’ve stuck at it and done what was needed to grind it out.

Huge effort tonight defensively when put under a lot of pressure, losing Josh Bowden so early, then Faraimo off for 10mins. Can’t fault the effort tonight and again whilst not great tonight still showing that we’re improving in terms of team effort and playing 80 mins.

I know he has his knockers but thought Ben McNamara was again secure defensively and a couple of nice touches.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

No flair, too many errors and poor discipline again
lost another front row for a long period which is not what we needed
Have to make a change at half back against Wigan to create something in attack against probably the best team in S/L
The myth of Jake Connor at full back has now been erased but we cant move him now into the halves for a couple of hard games against Wigan as
Connor Wynne has gone out on loan so it will have to be Tuimavave.

What did Connor do wrong at fullback?

Christ that was hard to watch.

2 points still unbeaten move on to next week.

Poor show but in the last couple of years we would have lost that. That is the only positive from tonight.

Improved on last week, where at times his teammates opted not to use him, I think when we stick to our structure and he receives it quickly like he's meant too, he linked with Connor pretty well. Solid performance from him. Had a hand in a couple of try's.

That's right Mrs B.

Such are the vagaries of the percentage system if Catalans lose they'd drop below us to 75%. If Warrington lose they'd drop below Rovers.

Blew two tries with ridiculous passes one of them resulting in the Wakefield interception try and passing is meant to be one of his strong points.
If Jamie Shaul had thrown those this board would have been full of criticism.
Wakefield did their home work on Connor and he was tackled as soon as he received the ball from kicks so never got going from the back.
Have to say in his defence that losing Reynolds from our attack has not helped his attacking play
