A Rovers fan came with me to the Wakefield game and he commented how dead it was and that he didn't hear Old Faithful until the end of the first half.
I do also agree the team needs to play it's part to create an atmosphere, but there is no denying that there is a huge difference in atmosphere between home and away games at the moment.
What is there to agree with? He's not on about the atmosphere as such (which has been debated to death on here) but the fact people moan and groan at home and rightly so. Maybe Lee if we weren't so boring, predictable and had so many unwanted club records the crowd maybe happier thus creating a better atmosphere. Now I go to home and away games and will cheer and moan in equal measures but that's all dependant on performance not result. Before he starts critisising fans he should look closer to home for the causation factor of said moans and groans and not point the finger of blame at the paying customer.
Coach Lee Radford is hoping for strong support from the Old Faithful and has praised the fans for their backing ahead of 2019. “I have been really pleased with the way our members have got behind the club this season. To have over 8,000 behind us for another year is very special,” Radford explained. We had a really strong start with our home form last year, and hopefully our supporters can help us make the KCOM Stadium a fortress in 2019, starting with a win against Castleford.

If Radford thinks that’s not the same in every sport though, he’s kidding himself. Man Utd’s away support is no doubt more passionate than their home support. That’s the nature of things. Fact is we’ve seen a massive losing run, record defeats and the support is criticised (despite the season ticket sales increasing). Go figure. Like I say, I think they’ve escaped a lot of criticism all things considered.

Unfortunately a lot of people are feeling the same way George. Its really hard work sitting and watching the rubbish we're currently being offered.
