My post was not a personal dig at you. However, when many comment of the lack of atmosphere at home games, I do think a factor is when fans expect a win (or a big a win) when in fact if your team are not 100% at the races the bottom placed club can turn them over.
St Helens are not the team they were, but poor is a little too far IMO. Their pack is formidable (Wilkins perhaps being the one who in reality should not be there) and as was evidenced on Friday, even in wet weather they are happy to off Lias at will.
We as a team have been turned over by teams that on paper we should have beaten for as long as I have been going (Fev 83 is still hard to understand) .

I love the fact this after a 40 point defeat, finishing bottom last year, struggling out of the middle 8's, beat by Salford and poor recruitment he think we should be concerned and Shaul isn't England quality, talk about deflecting.
I actually thought the young played for Hudds did ok, it was some of the senior players like the halfs and their overseas players that where poor.
I fully accept the defeat but your all acting like you hammered a full strength Giants team. 11 of our starting 17 were on the sidelines.
Take 11 of your starting 17 out and do you think the result would be the same of a 40+ hammering?
After 3 rounds only Wigan and cas look to be top of the pile and of the rest there doesn't look a lot between them with most probably being in with a shout of top 8 or bottom 4. Injuries will play a big part IMO. As for the 11 missing for hudds, who are the 11 who wouldn't be in the team if everyone was Fit? It seems to be vogue to count any and every injury whilst lining up excuses

Who are these fans, care to quote any of them.
Plus you are going over the top as Brieley, Brough, your front row, Hinchclffe, Wakeman and Clough would all be in your 17, Smith, Roberts and Ormsby have also played a few games.
Pretty full strength against Salford at home, what was the excuse for that one.

1. Jake Mamo 2. Jermaine McGilvarry 3. Leroy Cudjoe 4. Lee Gaskell 5. Aaron Murphy = ALL our back 5 missing
11. Tom Symonds 12. Dale Ferguson 13. Michael Lawrence = ALL our starting back row missing
17. Ukuama Taai = Our starting prop 31. Adam O Brien
9 players who would 100% be in the team if fit and 10 if O Brien played....
Sam Wood, Gene Ormsby, Mikey Wood, Tyler Dickinson, Darnell McIntosh, Nathan Mason, Daniel Smith would not be in the team id those players were fit full stop.
Personally, I dont think players such as Murphy and Ferguson are a miss but thats still 7 first team regulars
No excuses against Salford we were just crap that day and deserved to lose like you did against Catalans!
My point is you can take nothing from that game you did a job against what will be the most depleted team that anyone will face in SL this season.

as a hull fan, i dont really care how many you had out, or who was out, i still feel we would have beaten you even if you were stronger, mainly due to the disappointment of the catalan game, ateod we came and did a job, as i said to other hull fans around us, it was the extra pre season game we needed but never got for our halves and others who were a bit rusty to blow away any cobwebs
We'd have beat them if all those players were playing. Hudds are poop and are of little consequence to those clubs wanting to really challenge. After a few years of over achievement, last year and this they have a squad more in-keeping with their fan base. Terrible.
