Utter garbage. This is the Hull curse; "If he's from Hull, he must be given a chance". This is the reason we've been stuck with a poor player like Yeaman for 5 years. Hadley and Bowden have been given chances - neither are good enough for Super League in my opinion. We were proven right releasing Reece Lyne and Craig Hall. Fash is yet to be proven. Abdull could be the next Paul Cooke. All conjecture.
If you want a team full of Hull lads, I wish you luck but we'd be playing London next season. Just because they're playing well in the 19's does NOT mean they will do the same in the big leagues. Punters will buy passes on the strength of Pritchard and Scott Taylor - Not Brad Fash and Reece Dean.

As for Radford not trusting our kids. Get real.
Our current u19's are 3rd in the league 2 points off 1st place Wigan, despite the majority of them being a year younger. Let's not give them a chance, let's sign a 23 year old that's managed a whopping 13 first grade games.
Laughable really, signings like this are what hold you back cap wise, he won't be on a pittance. Do you think Wigan or Leeds would make this kind of signing?

Maybe the young kids aren't as good or as ready for SL as you think?
Just a possibility you don't seem to have considered.
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One

Yeah, Radford's got a great history for not just picking his mates.

I do believe he picks what he sees best for the team at the time, you need to realise that u19s & SL are totally different levels & they will get there chances when ready, your just another "I know best" type of fan the worlds full of your type.

What have the U19's position got to do with ours?! You do realise there's a big gulf in class and ability, right?
You probably moaned when we signed Moa without giving him a chance. Probably moaned that signing Prescott for the second time was keeping some 17 year old away from his rightful shirt.
Just to be clear, I'd actually prefer to see Abbo given the 13 shirt and Westerman try and earn it back because Abdull already looks like a SL player with confidence and lack of fear.
As with ALL SL teams, they will only blood youngsters when their most experienced and valuable players are out. That is how you see if they can truly make the grade. It happens in ALL sports.

Chuck all the youngsters in and dont bother signing any1. Their from hull. It'll be fine. What utter crap. We'd get beasted. Hes playing at a level thats only just below SL and standing out. Our 19s are playing about 4levels below and physically are4 yrs behind him. At least 1 n some cases 2 yrs away from week in week out standard physically and mentally.

He's always right mate because he watches the u19s, although ears only plays his mates, he's gone out & signed a kid who is going to play in kirks position, but it's ok he can break it to him next time theyre in big fun!

I think people here need to learn the difference between giving a young kid a chance and giving them the 7 jumper. There's no reason to suggest HTW and Dean won't get a chance in the first team next year, but given that neither have pulled the shirt on yet so it makes complete sense to recruit from elsewhere.
