As far as I know he hasn't said that he wants to play on next season. Cynically maybe it's a bargaining tactic to secure a new deal.

He's been a fantastic servant for Hull but maybe it's time to move on.

A little unfair to call Carlos injury prone, he only missed half a dozen between 2020 and 2021.

I think at Saints Simm would still have Bennison and Davies in front of him so I don't see him staying there.

Yeh think it was an interview he did in 2020 where he'd said he'd fallen out of love with the game and had only just started to enjoy the game again. For me he has been a great servant for the club but if he is truly feeling that way again then it would be a big mistake to re sign him for another year and time to move on.

I've always thought Carlos is a bit over rated

Hes been a solid player but not as good as some of our fans make out

Yes he's 7/8 out of 10 but hardly ever 10/10

Not been many games where I've gone wow Carlos was unstoppable like Jamie lyon etc

If you believe that a player scores 7/8 out of 10 he is doing a very good job. Comparing him to Lyon is naive. Players of that quality no longer play in SL.

Carlos has had a few injuries of late but is still one of the best centres in SL.

Have to disagree with you.Carlos is very strong,decent footwork,good defence and deceptive pace.
We would be going backwards trying to add pace to our backline if the club is looking to add Sutcliffe as a centre.
If we get rid of Griffin then Simm would be an ideal signing as a left centre to partner Swift

I think/hope we'd use Sutcliffe as a 2nd row next season. And go with Carlos and Wynne as our starting centres.
