If we want him long term then we can afford to wait a year IMO. You then sign him up on a 4/5 year deal. He's got many years ahead of him and waiting a season is not that long in the bigger scheme of things.

Yes, Bradford signed Higham from Saints and then swapped him for Terry Newton.
