Kirmond is ok, but a little overrated. I really don't see why we are looking at back rowers, our first choice back row is as good as anyone in the league, and there is a tonne of back up, especially if Washbrook is coming.
My shopping list now, assuming Fonua has signed, is an out and out centre, and a wiley, experienced hooker to spell with Houghton. Other than that I'd rather put a bit of faith in the youth.

I'd settle for a young overseas hooker with something to prove. Okay, it isn't a long term signing if they do well and go back to the NRL but it would be better than flogging Houghton for 30+ games. I like the sound of Wartovo Puara. Not because I know anything about him, I just like the sound of Wartovo Puara. Same goes for Pat Politoni and Joel Luani.
While I'm thing about names that would look nice on the team sheet what about Beau Falloon? If he is found not guilty on the drugs charges then he'll be looking for a club.

Not seen anything of Naughton to suggest he'll be top class if I'm honest even a regular SL player, seems a great kid so hopefully wrong, Lancaster seems to have the raw speed but so many young wingers have over the years, I'd like to see him given a go next season though even if he is raw, but let's be honest Lineham is a big loss whatever way you look at it.
Name one time this year that Lineham had broken away and scored from long range?
I don't think Lineham will improve much and never be top class, Lancaster in particular has potential to be that, both winged would have scored that try just after HT against Wigan. I also judging Lancaster on more than the just the first team I've seen him develop over the last 2 years for the 19s (which is were I have been tonight)

He scored 2 length of the field interceptions against widnes that won us the game. How many times in the last 2 seasons have our wingers had a pass that put them into space from long range out?

That's not breaking away, im talking about the type of try's Briscoe use to score or the one which Naughton scored in the cup against Cas.
Fair point the last one, he got one last week and failed to score.
I guess we will have to see next year if I a right or not.

On Rankin, I thought it was obvious that he was leaving, if he wanted to stay he should have signed the deal on the table months ago, hull can't wait around for him to make his decision,
Some of the stuff on twitter about it by the usual suspects is really pathetic.
Rankin is going. Very homesick, I hear. Shaul going too. In fact, I heard earlier that he left at the weekend. Miller also leaving Wakefield and going home.

Lineham is a massive loss whatever people say just like Briscoe was. To make out out Naughton or Lancaster are very bit as good makes you sound like a daft dobbin Dave. Letting him go to strengthen another side is a very bad decision on FCs part but this sort of lovin idiotic decision will continue under the DUMB Pearson regime

Lineham wanted to go. You wanna chain him to a bench, you dimwit?
When you left a job, did you feel sorry for them and decide to stay? Nope.
