We had to change the way we played with Taylor and Sao missing. We moved and offloaded the ball much more than going straight. We did it well, we played very well on our edges, Griffin and Carlos took on a lot of work.

Decent performance, a bit loose at times, but good to watch, particularly after a few years of boring rugby, Clifford and swift were outstanding, also thought Truenam showed some really good touches, we move the ball so well with Hoy, Trueman and Clifford. Hoy a bit rusted, but involved in a couple of trys an very safe under the high ball.
Scott worries me on the wing, didn't even attempt to catch at least 3 bombs today and looks slow, a quicker winger could have had one, maybe two trys. I'd look to change that next week.
If we can play at home, I think we have a chance against Saints who aren't firing this season.

Quite simply jake Clifford is the best signing we have made from NRL in last 20 years. I just prey he does not have the nrl clause in his contract so he can leave.

Good to keep the momentum of recent weeks going today. No players had a bad game and everyone had a dig, especially in the fist few minutes when Cas were camped in our ten, Hull of the first few months of this campaign would have been a couple of scores down and chasing the game . We did have some good luck , with them missing some key players but a pack missing Sao and Taylor, really took it to them and gained supremacy . Hoy looked rusty, this game will have done him good , he is yet to really hit his straps and , hopefully, that will come if he gets a decent run without injury. Griffin’s dissent was a bit disappointing , the referee obviously was not going to change his mind , especially as he totally ignored the opportunity to review the play by way of the video ref, but we stuck to our guns and I do finally believe we have now turned the corner . Saints will be a real test, I don’t see us winning but we can compete and all of our cup wins included hard draws , ala 2005! Great day and great effort today , Jake Clifford is all class and I just hope no NRL team comes in for him, he’s so good I can’t see why he didn’t get a gig over there. It was good to see Swift get his hatrick, if he is leaving he goes with out thanks , he’s so consistent and clinical .
