Tight turnaround to the derby, which I think you will win for all the reasons already cited. We still need to play Saints twice. And we are disadvantaged vs all the chasing pack as we have a cup semi final as a distraction. I'd imagine that 24 points is enough to avoid the drop, which is obviously all teams' first and most basic ambition, but so many twists and turns yet to come from teams all desperate to make the 5 or avoid relegation.
Whilst I don't agree that Rovers will be favourites for the derby (and I don't believe that you really think that anyway) you are right that there is still a lot of work to be done yet. We are nicely positioned right now, but with a cup semi (and hopefully a final) to think about, we need to be building up a good buffer because things can change quickly. We are in good form and a lot of teams below us are struggling, so we have to make hay whilst the sun shines. Next week is another very important game.
Also, whilst 5th is obviously where you need to be for a playoff spot, 3rd really needs to be the target now that we have got ourselves in this position. There is a big difference between 3rd and 4th/5th in the current system.
It was great to watch and the lads really put a shift in. lets not get carried away we have not won anything yet but on the other hand, may as well enjoy it while it lasts.

I've given you credit and it's due fair play.
Rovers will throw the kitchen sink at you and we are not as bad as you think, you will not get an easy ride I'm sure of that. You have better quality we have the greater incentive.
It's going to be a great occasion if you show the quality like you did today all our effort may well be in vain but let's see how things develop if things aren't going your way.
Short turnaround after a visit to France and a gruelling game played in strength sapping heat against one of the most physical sides in the comp will be a great leveller. If it were rovers coming back from that game in France and playing us at the kc after we had 2 days extra rest then I reckon wed put 40+ on them but have a sneaky feeling they'll win this one, possibly quite comfortably

Well i Put my money where said mouth is and backed Hull minus 11 points at 3/1 What a beauty of a performance I was off my sofa 3-4 times Unreal I said before the game we had so many reasons to win this and winning makes us all feel so much better about the next games Form and confidence counts for so much
That’s why playing Rovers should be a touch easier for us
We are in form and confidence and they’re not
I give credit to the the coaching set up and thre players I believe it’s now the ice freezer for the team
