I’ll wait and see who comes in and won’t rule anyone in or out after all who and how many thought we’d sign someone like Pritchard? But the club did it.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

That won’t be from me, like I say it may seem unlikely but we signed Pritchard who no one would have thought possible. You could even say when sika was signed no one would have confidently said we’d be signing him. Then Minichello and a few people were underwhelmed but I think he has been one of the clubs best signings for many a year just time has caught up with him now.
Think it’s clear to be able to compete at the top you need top players so time will tell who and what quality the club bring in and who they release.

How dare you doubt the veracity of my claim. This was told in all honesty by someone in the pub; he also stated the club are asking estate agents for four properties to rent. So there!

I didn't mean you! . I agree we need to sign quality, completely. My point is that JWH is beyond reasonable expectations IMO, but if we end up with a Fonua or Mini they get labelled "waste of an overseas spot wing project" or "past it, here for a pension" when we "missed out" on JWH.
Yes signing Hargreaves may be a pipe dream but IMO this is the type of recruitment needed to compete at the top like saints and wire. The way those to clubs play is almost like watching an nrl club, line speed, aggression, so many attacking options when they make a break, the rest of super league are way off the mark at the moment. We have good outside backs, but we’re desperately needs some big powerful forwards to play off

Looking at the NRL players out of contract. Fonua caught my eye, I'd love him back.
Leadership is something of a concern to us, especially when Ellis isn't there, James 'jammer' Graham is out of contract, he can certainly offer leadership. Even if that's just a pipe dream, I do hope it's one we've looked into.
